This is Tom Hammond's personal website. It presents my background, public projects, and writing. You can read these pages without creating an account or sending me personal information.

Website requests

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. When your browser requests a page or asset, the delivery service processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and requested URL to serve the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its handling of that information.

Blog link counts

When you select a Read link in the blog list, the site sends the article path to Cloudflare and adds one to a daily total for that article. The stored totals contain no visitor IDs, IP addresses, or cookies. These counts are separate from page views and do not identify unique readers. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this click tracking. Failed tracking requests do not stop you from opening an article.

Projects and external links

When you open Projects, your browser requests public aggregate marketplace statistics from api.omarchyplugins.com. That service receives the network information associated with the request. The site does not send marketplace votes or other interaction events. Counts refresh while the Projects view is open.

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Tangent, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Article images and the site's styles are served with the site.
